We at Fair and Green e. V. are proud to have taken part in ProWein again this year – and on the 30th anniversary of this renowned event! With a joint stand together with 12 Fair and Green member companies, we represented our commitment toholistic sustainability in the wine industryh. But that was not all: Over 60 of our member companies were also represented at various stands at the trade fair.
ProWein 2024 once again attracted trade visitors from all over the world, with around 47,000 visitors from 135 countries. Despite a slight decrease in the total number of visitors compared to the previous year and the challenges posed by the public transport strike, the footfall at our stand was extremely positive. We owe this not least to the quality of our exhibitors and the fascinating presentations, tastings and talks that were offered in our event space, which was used for the first time. The new positioning of our FAIR’N GREEN stand in Hall 1 – Stand D11 was well received by both exhibitors and visitors.
A special highlight was the opening event on Sunday, 10 March, when winegrower Ulrich Martin and wine merchant Christian Löw presented the fascinating topic of historical grape varieties, accompanied by a tasting that brought the diversity of these grape varieties to life. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Martin and Mr Löw once again for their extremely exciting contribution.
