The FAIR'N GREEN CARLO Sustainability Award
Fair and Green e. V. regularly awards sustainability prizes for viticulture. Among other things, research work on the topic of sustainability in viticulture and a particularly sustainable winery are honoured. The FAIR’N GREEN “CARLO” sustainability awards are named after Hans Carl von Carlowitz, the creator of the concept of sustainability.
FAIR’N GREEN Thesis Award – CARLO
As part of the CARLO Awards 2025, Fair and Green e. V. also presents awards for outstanding theses. These will be awarded to one bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral thesis each that deals with a research question related to sustainability in viticulture.
Students from all disciplines and their supervisors are eligible to apply. The thesis, which deals with a research question on the topic of sustainability in viticulture, must have received a very good grade and have been completed between 01.01.2024 and 01.01.2025. The written reviews or an informal, written recommendation from the supervisor of the thesis must be available.
