Wine Wolff wine trade
The specialist wine shop Wein Wolff was founded in 1800 and is now run by Jan Wolff after more than 200 years of history. The range of wines includes over 1000 wines in various price categories from all major wine-growing countries. In 2003, 2008 and 2014, Wein Wolff was honoured by Meininger Verlag (Weinwirtschaft) as ‘Specialist Wine Retailer of the Year’ and in 2019 by the German Wine Institute with the Specialist Retailer Award. The head office of the specialist wine shop is located in the historic Haus Samson in Leer, which is a listed building.

Sustainable wine with tradition
Wein Wolff is one of the first wine trading companies in Germany to be FAIR’N GREEN certified. It believes that real sustainability has to start with the company itself. It is not enough just to offer ‘good’ products – your own actions should be characterised by sustainability.
This is why Wein Wolff regularly reviews and scrutinises its work steps and measures so that future generations can continue to run Wein Wolff in a healthy environment and society.
When selecting its wine producers and winemakers, Wein Wolff pays attention not only to the quality of the wines but also to sustainability – although this does not mean that all products have to carry an organic label.
In addition, Wein Wolff’s spirits production has been able to call itself a climate-neutral company through the Save Climate Initiative since 2021.
