Winery S. A. Prüm
The S. A. Prüm winery was founded in 1911 by Sebastian Alois. In 1971, his son Raimund Prüm took over the estate with 3.5 hectares of vineyards and developed it into what it is today: an outstanding winery with international success and 30 hectares of vineyards.
Saskia Andrea Prüm, Raimund Prüm’s daughter, is a qualified viticultural engineer and initially took care of sales and organisation at the S. A. Prüm winery after completing her studies.
On 1 July 2017, she took over the winery as owner and is now successfully managing it in the 3rd generation.
The S. A. Prüm winery grows Riesling exclusively on the best steep slopes of the Middle Moselle.
“Sustainability also plays a major role for us as a traditional winery, because only by acting sustainably can we positively influence our future and that of our environment. Nature and our vineyards are our capital that must be preserved. What we particularly like about FAIR’N GREEN is the dialogue with like-minded people and the always helpful suggestions from the FAIR’N GREEN team.”

Philosophy
The vines and vineyards are the origin of the unique wines of the S. A. Prüm winery, which exclusively cultivates Riesling in the best sites of the Middle Moselle.
The S.A. Prüm winery is particularly fond of old vines that were planted by the family’s ancestors and date back to 1905. With these and the autochthonous vines planted until the 1950s, the winery can still rely on ungrafted (ungrafted) Riesling vines. The strength and density that a vine over 100 years old gives the wines is unrivalled.
In recent years, some new vineyards have been planted in the course of land consolidation.
The S. A. Prüm winery does not use insecticides in its vineyards and fertilises the vines exclusively with organic fertilisers.
