At the Knöll Vogel winery, which was founded in 1975 with the marriage of Manfred Vogel and Ilse Knöll from the Knöll winery, viticulture is a task with tradition, to which the whole family dedicates itself with enthusiasm and respect for nature. Inspiring cooperation, family flair and the gift of combining traditional values with modern ideas characterize the style of the winery. It is now run by Sandra Vogel, Nicole Vogel and Stefan Trutter.
The wines are a piece of home in a bottle. They show how the Knöll Vogel winery works and how great its passion is for what everyone does together. The family is aware that the right approach to nature and respect for it are the keys to the consistently high quality of the wines. The sustainability of their work is very important to everyone. That is why they rely on the necessary sensitivity in the vineyard and in the cellar day after day.
The vines grow in the best vineyards on limestone and loess-loam soils.
“The sustainability of our work is very important to us. In FAIR’N GREEN, we have found the right partner to help us keep improving in this area. The holistic approach is exactly what is important to us: not just limiting ourselves to individual areas, but seeing the big picture. We accept our responsibility and look forward to working with them.”

Respect plays an important role in the cellar – respect for the requirements of nature. Preserving quality in the cellar is the maxim. With constantly updated specialist knowledge, empathy and vision.
Tradition comes into play when it comes to ageing: we mature full-bodied red wines in wooden barrels and white wines predominantly in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve their fine varietal aromas and wonderful fruit nuances. The main grape varieties are Riesling, Pinot Gris, Dornfelder and Pinot Blanc. The Knöll Vogel winery also enjoys producing bouquet varieties such as Muscat and Sauvignon Blanc.
