The Jung and Knobloch winery looks back on a long wine-growing tradition, whose landmark is the antique wine press in the courtyard with the inscription “Konrad 1813 Knobloch”. Some of the vines grow on land that has belonged to the family for over 200 years. This teaches mindfulness and responsibility for future generations. Innovative new developments in cellar technology and the way we treat our fellow human beings and the environment reflect the winery’s commitment to sustainability. This is why the winery is particularly proud to have received the national award for “Training Company of the Year” in 2014 and the “regio-effekt” award in 2017.
The winery cultivates 54 hectares of vineyards in and around Albig in Rheinhessen. The result is a diversity of varieties that is second to none. 21 grape varieties are cultivated and developed into high-quality and, in the truest sense of the word, “excellent” white, rosé and red wines, from dry to noble sweet.
“Respect for people and nature has characterized us for generations. With a spirit of innovation, we strive to sustainably secure and further optimize the quality and diversity of our wines as well as the conservation of resources. With FAIR’N GREEN, we want to further develop this holistic approach in a scientifically sound way and make it clear to our customers with a clear seal.”
