The “Hornstein am See” winery is located in the idyllic village of Nonnenhorn with around six hectares directly on the Bavarian shores of Lake Constance. The pre-alpine Lake Constance and the carbonate, gravelly soils created by the last glaciation form the basis for lean, taut and elegant wines. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and the classic Lake Constance Müller-Thurgau are the most important grape varieties of the family business.
“A business, especially in agriculture, bears responsibility for society, the environment and the future. The FAIR’N GREEN community demonstrates a determined and multi-layered development towards sustainable work. We are delighted to now be able to pursue our path even more efficiently with others.”
