The Disibodenberg winery in Odernheim am Glan has been a Burgundy heavyweight for generations in the Nahe wine-growing region, which is otherwise dominated by Riesling. 50% of our vineyards are planted with red and white Burgundy varieties.
Carefully cultivated vineyards in harmony with nature, the care of old vines, low yields, manual labor and, last but not least, a passion for good wine ensure a strong concentration of fruit aromas and complex structures. The result: magnificent, expressive wines of great character. Single-varietal single-vineyard wines, perfectly balanced cuvées.

Winery Disibodenberg
Preserve. Culture. Steep slopes.
In 1992, Christian Held took over the management of the winery as a lateral entrant and personally liable partner. The ideal winemaker was found in the other managing director Thomas Zenz, a graduate engineer in viticulture, who took over the operational management of the business in 1997.
In 2018, the areas of the former Racknitz vineyard on Disibodenberg were integrated into the business. As a result, one of the oldest vineyards in Germany and one of the best Riesling sites became the property of the winery, which now cultivates 23 hectares. Since 01.04.2019, this development has been expressed by the name Weingut Disibodenberg.
We can look back on over a thousand years of winemaking tradition and look to the future with confidence. Member of JRE-Origins since January 2023, because: “Original food still exists!”
