Winery and sparkling wine estate Bamberger
The Bamberger winery and sparkling wine estate is located in Meddersheim on the Nahe. The family has been cultivating excellent steep vineyards for generations: the Monzinger Frühlingsplätzchen, the Meddersheimer Altenberg and the Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg. Heiko Bamberger runs the business hand in hand with his wife Ute.
When it comes to viticulture, the winery focuses on classic grape varieties such as Riesling and Burgundy. Wines with mineral spice, clarity and finesse are created with great care. The wines are as individual as the terroir: Boisterous in character, well-behaved or playful.
The highlight of the collection is the sparkling wine produced entirely according to traditional methods.

Philosophy
As a small family business, the Bamberger winery and sparkling wine estate emphasises traditional craftsmanship in accordance with the rhythm of nature. The Bambergers put an enormous amount of passion and perfectionist ambition into the production of sparkling wine using traditional bottle fermentation.
The sparkling wine matures in the bottle, lies on the lees for up to five years and is carefully turned by hand on the riddling console.
The Bambergers are keen to emphasise the strengths of the wine and sparkling wine estate more clearly. With this in mind, they reduced their product range list, which sharpened their profile.
