Silbernagel Winery
The Silbernagel winery is located in Ibesheim on the southern wine route. Here they work with a keen sense of vines, nature and wine to create wines that combine the charm and character of this unique region. It is the combination of regional recognition value, quality and wholesomeness that is so important to the Silbernagel winery.
The result is wines with their own identity, largely natural, individually matured, lively and full-bodied.

Philosophy
At the Silbernagel winery, great importance is attached to the authenticity of the wines: the wine connoisseur should be able to taste that the wine comes from the Southern Wine Route / Palatinate.
Marc knows the vineyards and soils around Ilbesheim very well, as he was already out in the vineyards with his grandfather every day as a small child.
This terroir with the clay, loess and shell limestone soils found there, combined with 1,800 hours of sunshine a year, create the basis for high-quality, characterful wines with a high regional recognition value. For Marc, his knowledge of the soils and the special characteristics of the grape varieties are the basic prerequisites for authentic and expressive wines. In addition, the vineyards are cultivated with biodiversity in mind. This promotes the natural potential of the vine and ensures more vitality in the vineyard.
