The Schönlaub winery has been growing wine for over 250 years – a history of constant change. Each generation takes on new challenges and shapes the established character of the winery with new ideas. The Schönlaub winery aims to consistently produce top-quality Palatinate wines without compromise and to bring out the characteristic features of different terroirs. With great commitment and attention to detail, the winegrowers support the vigorous, healthy growth of the vines and grapes. They achieve this through consistent yield reduction, natural growing conditions and careful selection. In the geologically and climatically varied sites of the estate, they produce complex wines with a wealth of aromas, strength and maturity, elegance and minerality.

The philosophy of Weingut Schönlaub is to utilize all natural resources in combination with innovative elements. Linked to this is the vision of producing outstanding wines with an unmistakable personality and character. Early on, they set themselves the goal of constantly optimizing their production methods. The winery attaches great importance to biodiversity and species diversity.
In order to make their contribution to sustainability and environmental goals, they are becoming increasingly sensitive in their use of resources and are trying to strike a balance. In order to make measurable and verifiable success “tangible”, the winery has decided to join FAIR’N GREEN standards in order to be able to consistently improve. For them, sustainable working methods also include a responsible and respectful approach to wine as a cultural asset. For this reason, the winery has also joined Wine in Moderation. The Schönlaub winery also produces all of its wines vegan.
