Reverchon Winery
The Reverchon winery in Konz-Filzen was “privatized” in 1685 from a former church winery. In 1921, the Huguenot banking family Reverchon took over the estate and developed it into one of the most renowned wineries on the Saar. Three generations later, the estate fell into crisis due to a lack of investment, poor vineyard management and poor wine quality. In 2007, the entrepreneur Hans Maret took over the estate. The Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties are cultivated on around 20 hectares of vineyards on slate-rich soils. You can also book a room for a short break in the winery’s adjoining country house.
“We are a member of FAIR’N GREEN because we not only want to make the centuries-old Saar Riesling tradition sustainable and future-oriented within production, but also want to assume social responsibility for people and society and we consider future-oriented management within the Reverchon winery to be indispensable.
The first steps towards a responsible future have already been taken and we look forward to further developing and promoting each other in cooperation with our colleagues from FAIR’N GREEN. In this way, we want to continue to offer wine lovers light, invigorating and Saar-typical wines in the future and manage the unique cultural landscape of the Saar with confidence in the interests of future generations.”

Philosophie: Leicht. Pur. Genussreich.
The winery cultivates the centuries-old tradition with joy and passion. The focus is on premium sparkling wines and harmonious Rieslings from great vineyards. The winery attaches great importance to sustainable and environmentally friendly vineyard management. Much of the work is deliberately carried out without the use of machines in order to care for each vine individually. A late grape harvest in several selections as well as a high proportion of old, partly ungrafted vines ensures wines of high density and complexity, always invigorating and light in alcohol with great depth, for pure drinking pleasure without remorse.
