The Möhr-Niggli winery in Maienfeld, Switzerland, is now run by the second generation, Matthias and Sina Gubler-Möhr. Sina’s parents Forti and Magda Möhr-Niggli took over the winery at the end of the 1980s and expanded it to its current size
Today, the winery cultivates around 3.8 hectares of vines. Matthias and Sina Gubler-Möhr have already set a milestone with their first joint wine, PILGRIM. The Clos Martha from Matthias’ family vineyard in Maisprach BL is also pressed in Maienfeld. In addition to Pinot Blanc, Viognier and Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot are also cultivated.
“From the moment we plant vines in the ground, we influence a natural cycle. Long-term responsibility and a holistic view of this cycle are prerequisites for our work in the vineyard and cellar. We share this conviction with FAIR’N GREEN.”

The Gubler-Möhr family from the Möhr-Niggli winery is particularly committed to a holistic approach. This can be seen in the cultivation of the vineyards, the care and support of the young wines in the cellar and the personal contact with private customers, restaurateurs and specialist wine merchants.
In doing so, the Möhr-Niggli winery can always rely on a wealth of experience that has been shaped by many years of travel. With the FAIR’N GREEN certification, the focus is placed even more intensively on more ecological and sustainable cultivation and the exchange of experience across borders with other wineries and the Fair and Green e. v. association is cultivated.
