The Jesuitenhof winery is located in Dirmstein and has been growing wine here since 1803. It was founded in its current form in 1986 by Klaus Schneider, President of the German Winegrowers’ Association, and his wife Andrea.
In 2011, her son Moritz joined the winery after completing his training in the Palatinate and studying oenology in Geisenheim, and now runs the business.
The Jesuitenhof focuses on Rieslings and Burgundy varieties, which thrive in the best vineyards around Dirmstein, such as the Dirmsteiner Herrgottsacker, the Dirmsteiner Mandelpfad and the Dirmsteiner Jesuitenhofgarten monopole. The latter has the particularity of being completely surrounded by old town and monastery walls, which creates a special microclimate. Some vineyards are also located in neighboring Laumersheim, including the famous Laumersheimer Steinbuckel.
“Preserving tradition and building on a successful future is an important cornerstone of our actions. Quality and sustainability are at the top of our list. We see FAIR’N GREEN as the best way to implement these guiding principles and want to continue to improve through intensive exchange.”

The Jesuitenhof winery sees tradition as a cornerstone for the future. That is why quality and sustainability-oriented work in the vineyards and all areas of work at the Jesuitenhof winery are of central importance.
Another major concern of the Schneider family is the exchange and networking with other businesses in the region in order to further develop the “Pfalz” brand. To this end, they are involved in “Forum Pfalz”, “Generation Pfalz” and “Generation Riesling”, for example.
