Frieden-Berg Winery
The Frieden-Berg winery is located in the wine village of Nittel on the Upper Moselle, right on the border with Luxembourg, and is run by Horst Frieden and his son Maximilian. Geologically, the so-called Paris Basin begins here, a sedimentation basin that offers conditions for Mediterranean flora and fauna and has a favorable effect on viticulture due to its special climate.
The Frieden-Berg winery uses these special conditions to achieve its goal of producing wines of high quality and full flavor. Through their commitment to care and quality, they remain true to the tradition of the winery.

Philosophy
„The root of taste“ is the philosophy of the Frieden-Berg winery. Here, we work as closely as possible with nature in order to promote and increase the diversity of flora and fauna in the vineyard ecosystem.
When working the vineyards, the focus is also on conserving resources in harmony with nature. The soils are exclusively enriched organically and the high quality of the grapes is achieved through deliberately careful vineyard management and a balanced leaf-fruit ratio.
